Why are you like this?'

 

Being asked the same question by different people is exhausting, isn't it? 

Most of the time in her life, she has been accused of having a boring, not-enjoying, kinda life. Most of the people who knew her have asked the same single question from her.

''Why are you like this?'

That means, Why are you the way you are!

But what is the way they are seeing as her way?

She's not a social person, let alone a party animal, she doesn't have a big circle of friends, she doesn't drink, she's not a one who talks much except with her few closest people, she hates being surrounded by crowds that shout, she hates staying in places that are filled with various harsh noises, she loves listening to music or playing an instrument or even listening to the sound of a downpour, more than going on trips or planning outings, she really wants her surroundings to be so silent: calm and quiet, she enjoys working on her own than with a group, she endlessly talks when shes with my closest people, she really enjoys 'me time'.  She would take several me times a day if it is possible,  in brief, she does not enjoy what others enjoy.

So most of the people have questioned her that why she is like this 🙄

The answer is so simple. Because that is her way! Let me explain to you, In Harry potter and chamber of secrets Rowling has written something so nice.

'Harry it is our choices, that define who we truly are, far more than our abilities

The same is true for her. Her choices have made her the way she is.  Thankfully, the small circle of people around her, know the way she is and don't ask this pointless question.

But some people, never understand why she is the way she is.
She wanted them to understand that being quiet is not being shy, she was fed up answering that she talks whenever if it's needed and she prefers being silent. She wanted them to understand that solitude is not loneliness, though she has a few people she would love to spend time with, and they are always there to talk with her, she is not isolated, she spends time alone not because she is helpless but because she chooses it. She wanted to say out loud that every human being has got his own programming and she works according to hers and no one can be programmed according to others, she wanted to let them know that she never wanted to show the world that she enjoys her life, but she is really enjoying it and she knew the difference between enjoying life and pretending to enjoy the life and she never wanted to change the way she is just because it annoys others for no reason, she wanted them to realize that she hated to maintain fake images just to impress other people though she was once said, she doesn't have a partner because she is serious and not outgoing and doesnt drink and so she'd better be more fun and outgoing and drink.

She never answers them but remains silent. Though she wanted to make them realize that it's highly impertinent to ask this question. But she knew they never understand but keep judging. She wanted to tell them that if someone doesnt entertain what others entertain, that doesnt mean this person is living a bored and sorrowful life.

Everyone is different from each other and why is it so difficult to respect this diversity??? Why these people can't see that it is very rude of any individual to ask others to get themselves moulded for an artificial lifestyle in order to please others and to show off? Why does society think that people should live up to other's standards? Every individual defines their ways according to their own unique way. And various personality types can be seen among humans, why questioning others not even trying to understand that fact?  As long as a person's way is not harmful or poisonous to himself and others, no one has a right to question their choices!
